As you may have noticed, we played a little bit with our words! We are not only focused on developing products, but also on elevating those products through the Lean Startup methodology.

Many startups fail because they over-rely on an idea without ever testing it on the market. After long and expensive months of development and iterations, nobody ever asked for such a product to be created.

Thus, no users, no scalability, no success.

Moreover, we continually offer certification and studying opportunities so that everybody can keep on developing their skills. That way we ensure their personal growth and, at the same time, the company’s growth.

Yet, there’s more in this world than qualifications and experience. We also focus on the soft skills of our team to ensure a healthy and enjoyable work environment for us and for our partners as well.

Time management, creative thinking, communication skills, and teamwork constitute the core skills of our team. Our human development department accompanies our team members through their journey in the company with regular 1-on-1 meetings to ensure they have everything they need to feel comfortable and perform to their full potential.

Remotely

Ever since our beginning, we adopted a remote work methodology. This methodology has helped us transcend the location barriers to bring talented professionals from all over the Americas to our team. Right now, our team is spread across the Americas and Europe.

Moreover, these relationships enrich our work through new ways of thinking, different approaches to a problem, and out-of-the-box creative ideas.

In our 7 years in the industry, we have refined our system to strengthen the way we work. We have created different devices to remain close, aligned, and engaged, even in the distance.

TECH MEETINGS

Three times per month, our team gathers for the Tech Meeting and discusses tech trends, new technologies, processes, and different ways to approach a problem. These meetings are a chance to grow, learn from each other, and continue developing our knowledge.

RETRO

After every iteration of a project, teams get together to have a retrospective meeting where we discuss what worked, what needs to be improved, and what was a total success. That way, we keep ourselves accountable for our work and find means to improve together.

COFFEE TIME

Coffee Time is an initiative that was born to get to know each other better, even in the distance. Every week, 5 Bixers get together to share breakfast, coffee, and a little bit of ourselves!

LET'S TALK

Once every two months, we take a moment to be together and just talk about everything and anything! Since we come from different places, we like to discover our cultures, traditions, likes, and dislikes! More than work meetings, these are online themed parties we celebrate with the whole team!

SYNC

This meeting is all about working like a well-oiled machine! During the sync, we come together as a team to talk about the current state of the company, recognize the key actors of successful projects, and show demos of the projects we are working on.
